This program details many of the instances where computer security law is found and used in the legal field. As technology has advanced, the law has often failed to keep pace with this technological innovation.

The program shows the history of legislation related to computer security law and how it has impacted many other areas of law like securities law. In many instances it will show the reason why these laws were enacted, often from instances of fraud that were facilitated by the development and proliferation of technology.

The program also shows how computer security law relates to specific types of businesses. It also shows how legislation that has been enacted will be expanded to increase regulatory power of administrative agencies.
