Background:

Joe Scally has devoted his career to improving the lives of children and families through his work as an attorney and child therapist. He was a member of the original Parenting Assessment Team at the University of Illinois; Clinical Co-director of the Clinical Evaluation and Services Initiative, a project of the University of Chicago and Northwestern Law School that improved the quality and delivery of mental health information in the Juvenile Court; and has taught courses in mental health law, assessment, ethics, and testifying to both graduate and undergraduate students. Joe is an experienced litigator. Practice areas include juvenile justice, special education, mental health, and guardianship. He enjoys and believes in the multi-disciplinary approach the Child and Family Law Center brings to client’s concerns. Joe’s goal is to provide effective legal services that result in opportunities for clients to improve their lives and the lives of their families.
